Year 7 is the first of three programs in the Love Bites
Junior Respectful Relationships Education program.

Year 7 program
aims to build young people’s skills to navigate relationships and emerging social media.

is designed to be delivered either in a day program or over 8 -10 weeks in 60 min sessions. The following themes are explored in the year 7 program:

- Managing emotions
- Setting boundaries
- Foundations of consent
- Resolving conflicts
- Understanding privilege
- Coercive control
- Relationships and social media
- Bullying
- Being an upstander
- Seeking help and supporting a friend
- Creative Session
Love Bites Junior provides the Central Coast community with sustainable, localised, whole-of-community respectful relationship programs and strategies created by NAPCAN. The programs are set within a trauma-informed practice framework and are guided by behaviour change theory, children and young person inclusive practice, and culturally inclusive practice with highly trained NAPCAN certified facilitators from local organisations across the Central Coast.
