"Hi I just wanted to say that Love Bites came to my school last year and I am so grateful that there are programs like this because I believe you’re doing so much for young people and I feel like the things I learnt have given me so much more social and emotional intelligence so I feel like I can take care of myself and especially those around me. I really hope you keep providing your services and resources all around Australia.

Thank you!"

Something I didn’t know before the program...

"what exactly a toxic relationship looks like"

Anonymous Student Feedback

"Over 5 years ago you came to my high school, I was in year 10 at the time. I didn't understand what abuse was and couldn't comprehend that what was being done to me was abuse. That someone who I considered to be my mother could hurt someone to the point of abuse. But that was what was happening to me. I was young and I experienced domestic abuse. I thought that it was ok because she didn't hit me after all it was my fault.

Doing this program 5 years ago made me see that this was wrong. Because of how empowered I felt and with the help of my school I was able to leave. For the first in my life I felt I had some power back in my life when from my school I was finally able to hang up from my mother.

I just want to thank you so much. words can not describe my gratitude. Because of this I could learn what an abusive relationship was and now I am happily in a relationship with my boyfriend. And in a relationship built on mutual trust and respect."
