LOVE BiTES is an extremely successful school-based Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) and Sexual Assault (SA) program created by NAPCAN. The program is based on best practice standards for education programs as recommended by the Federal Government funded Australian Domestic and Family Violence ‘Clearing House’ and other leading academics in the area of violence against women. The program is set within a trauma-informed practice framework and is guided by behaviour change theory, children and young person inclusive practice, and culturally inclusive practice with highly trained NAPCAN certified facilitators from local organisations across the Central Coast.
